During my first year in real estate, my father's influence played a crucial role in shaping my journey. He was a highly respected loan officer in the mortgage banking industry, known for his expertise throughout the state of Tennessee. His mentorship not only helped me professionally but also impacted me personally and spiritually. Together, we celebrated my achievement as "Rookie of the Year" nationwide for my firm – a milestone moment for me. However, amidst all the excitement, life took a sudden turn when my father fell ill.
Exactly one year and one day into my real estate career, we received the devastating news that my father had just weeks left to live. The news shook our entire family to the core, and watching him face the end of his life was incredibly difficult. When he passed, I took a long time to reflect on life and define my priorities. In the face of this loss, my purpose in life became clear: to help other people succeed. This goal became the driving force behind everything I do.
Losing my father became a turning point in my life, instilling in me a profound sense of urgency to make the most of every moment and to act on my aspirations without delay. As a lifelong entrepreneur, it was essential for me to pursue work that aligned with my values, free from external constraints.
In 2013, I founded Living TN with a vision to create a community-oriented business that celebrated the very essence of living in Tennessee while nurturing local businesses and uplifting our communities. Guided by my father's values, I was determined to establish a company that prioritized people over profits, placing our agents at the heart of everything we do.

My wife, Rachel, and our two amazing sons, Charles Daniel III (Charlie) and Payton, bring immense joy to our lives. We are proud to live here in Nashville, where we can experience urban amenities while still having a strong sense of community.
